About Me

Joseph White - Product Designer

Coming from a family of architects, engineers and artists, design has been a passion of mine from a very early age. With over 16 years of design experience, my work has taken me to all corners of the globe. It is gratifying to have a vast number of my designs now feature in hundreds of homes across the UK, Europe and the US.

Over the years I have worked with many well-known brands - NEXT, John Lewis, Anthropologie, Laura Ashley and Habitat to name just a few. Using materials and techniques from across the world, I have enjoyed creating new and cutting-edge designs for clients in fast-evolving industries.

After graduating from Bournemouth Universtity, I secured a design role at Poole Lighting in Dorset. There, I progressed to Team Leader for the design department and evolved design relationships with many popular UK brands. I then started at Där in Oxfordshire and was able to work more closely with far-east suppliers and highly regarded clients to create outstanding quality products. I have since set up my own freelance design service (www.DesignJuice.net) and designed with NEXT retail in their Homewares department.

I'm fortunate to live and work on the beautiful south coast on the edge of the New Forest. When I'm not in my studio, you will often find me enjoying coastal life with my family or strumming a guitar around a beach fire.
